Guilt Shame and Vulnerability on Ready for Love Radio

Guilt and shame are a part of many people’s lives. Sometimes it comes with inside themselves, other times it comes from family, society, religion or the media. Maybe they have just been “programmed” over the years to think they have to think they are expected to be at fault when there is a problem.

We will start the show by defining the meaning of guilt and the meaning of shame. We will talk about several ways how guilt and shame differ from one another and how we can look at them in different ways. As I often do on the show, we also discuss how you can find ways to help yourself if guilt and shame are issues that you deal with in your life. We will also share some insights from Brene Brown concerning shame and vulnerability.  Check below for links to a couple of Brene’s TED talks and a great interview she did about men and vulnerability.
